Last week, we wrapped up our time at World of Coffee Jakarta<\/span><\/a> Exhibition<\/b>. It was our first time stepping onto the international stage under the name of Solright<\/span>, and we were proud to co-exhibit with local coffee gear brand Paper Knot<\/span><\/a> \u2014 giving coffee professionals from all over the world a chance to experience Taiwan\u2019s design and craftsmanship firsthand.<\/p>\n

This journey gave us more than conversations \u2014 it was a full-body market experience. We walked into a region where coffee is growing rapidly and felt the real heartbeat of Asia\u2019s new generation of coffee culture.<\/p>\n

Jakarta: Real, Warm, and Caffeinated<\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n

WOC<\/span> Jakarta gave us a very different feeling from shows we\u2019ve seen in Europe, Japan, or Korea \u2014 where coffee has become a symbol of curated lifestyle and personal taste.<\/p>\n

In Jakarta, the culture is bubbling over with energy. We met roasters, brewers, baristas, caf\u00e9 owners, and equipment distributors from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, Europe \u2014 all coming together to exchange ideas and share their passion.<\/p>\n

One of the most frequent questions we heard over the three-day show was:<\/p>\n

\u201cHow is your grinder different from traditional hand grinders?\u201d<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

That\u2019s exactly what the Solright DB-1<\/b><\/span> <\/a>was built to address \u2014 a tool that\u2019s more intuitive, more user-friendly, and designed for daily use.<\/p>\n

Quick disassembly, easy cleaning, a magnetic catch cup, and external grind adjustment \u2014 these might look like small touches, but they solve real problems users face every day. We want people to focus on enjoying their coffee, not fighting with their gear.<\/p>\n

That feedback reassured us: Solright\u2019s design philosophy is on the right track. Our goal is to make tools that bring good coffee into everyday life \u2014 effortlessly. From Indonesia: A New Rhythm for the Asian Market<\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n

This time, we focused our attention on Indonesia\u2019s local coffee language.<\/p>\n

Indonesia is not just a coffee origin \u2014 it\u2019s also a booming market for creative coffee beverages. Locals told us how hand-shaken drinks have influenced how people enjoy coffee here, especially when it comes to sweetness and flavor balance.<\/p>\n

One standout trend? Coffee with palm sugar<\/b><\/span> \u2014 a flavor-forward pairing<\/b> that brings depth, sweetness, and unmistakable local character.<\/p>\n

What we saw wasn\u2019t imitation \u2014 it was identity. Indonesia is creating its own rhythm, and this kind of dialogue is exactly what we want our brand to be part of.<\/p>\n

Solright<\/span> doesn\u2019t just want to sell tools \u2014 we want to connect with real local coffee life.<\/p>\n

Back in Taiwan, Let the Conversations Keep Brewing<\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n

For us, 2025 WOC Jakarta<\/span> wasn\u2019t an ending. It was a beginning.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re now in touch with caf\u00e9s, roasters, and distributors we met at the show \u2014 and even made a few unexpected connections with potential partners from other countries. We hope these early conversations grow into something meaningful, bringing Taiwan-made quality and thoughtful design to more brewers around the world.<\/p>\n
