FAQ

How do I clean my Solright DB-1 grinder?

Use a soft brush or special cleaning tool (such as Solright Clean Master) to lightly brush the cutter disc and the inside of the machine body, and use a blower ball to remove fine coffee powder. Avoid putting it in the dishwasher, washing it in water, or using chemical cleaners to avoid damaging the parts.

How often should I clean and maintain it?

It is recommended to perform simple maintenance after each grinding, or a deep cleaning at least every two weeks to ensure optimal grinding results and extend service life.

How to use the Solright DB-1 grinder?

Pour the coffee beans into the bean hopper, adjust the grinding thickness, and hold the machine steadily for manual grinding. Hold the top of the adjustment ring to prevent the setting from shifting.

How to disassemble and assemble the Solright DB-1?

Empty the bean hopper and rotate the adjustment ring to separate the cutterhead from the body. When assembling, align the cutterhead with the central axis and rotate it counterclockwise to zero to complete the installation. Avoid excessive rotation to avoid damage.

Does the Solright DB-1 come with a warranty?

Yes, we provide one-year warranty. If you have any questions, please contact customer service at [email protected].

If a part is damaged or missing, can I purchase a single piece?

Yes, we provide parts purchase service, please contact customer service to purchase.

Is it normal for the cutter head to be offset from the axis?

Yes, this is part of the design and helps improve grind stability. The cutterhead automatically aligns itself to the center while grinding, maintaining consistency.

Is it normal for the inner and outer cutterheads to touch slightly when the cutterhead is returned to zero?

normal. A slight touch after zeroing is required by the design to remind the user not to continue rotating and cause wear to the cutterhead.

The Solright DB-1 makes an unusual sound when grinding, is this normal?

If there is an abnormal sound when grinding, it may be that the cutterhead and the coffee beans in the bean hopper are not correctly aligned or there is a foreign object stuck. It is recommended to check and empty the bean trough to ensure that there are no foreign objects in the cutterhead and parts before grinding. If the problem persists, please contact customer service.

Why does the grinder's grinding setting change automatically?

If you find that the setting scale moves during the grinding process, it may be that the upper part of the machine body or the adjustment ring is not held correctly during operation. Make sure to hold the upper body of the machine stably to avoid setting changes. If necessary, check whether the parts need to be adjusted or fixed.
