Solright Indonesia Coffee Workshop: Brewing Knowledge Beyond the Cup

Over the past two weekends, Solright hosted coffee workshops in Semarang and Surabaya, Indonesia, guiding coffee lovers to explore one of the most crucial yet often overlooked details in brewing — the grinder.

Semarang Brewing Experience: Thinking Beyond the Grind

In Semarang, Solright encouraged participants not only to ask which grinder to choose, but also why.
Through discussions and cupping sessions, attendees experienced how different grinders affect particle distribution, grind consistency, flavor clarity, and body.

Many participants also experienced the Solright grinder’s quick-release design, which made cleaning fast and easy, preventing residue and ensuring a clean, consistent cup every time. This reflects Solright’s core philosophy:

“There is no absolute ‘best grinder,’ only the one that fits your brewing goals and habits.”

Surabaya Brewing Experience: One Coffee, Endless Flavors

In Surabaya, the exploration continued with a hands-on brewing session.
Participants used the same coffee and dripper, but brewed with different grinders and compared the results together.

Among them, the Solright DB-1 grinder, with its lightweight design and high extraction efficiency, produced cups with greater clarity and sweetness, leaving a lasting impression.
The blind tasting results confirmed once again: there is no single grinder that “wins,” but Solright demonstrated how thoughtful design highlights coffee’s purity and balance in different contexts.
